Plug In & Recharge

Plug In & Recharge

Have you ever found yourself at the low end of your cell phone battery, while traveling, just when you needed it the most? If you're remotely like me, you have a double pack cell phone battery, and still find the battery at 10% or less at the most inconvenient times, perhaps when you needed to take a teleconference, or call to let your party know at which gate you've arrived. Its during moments like those, that I have to be more selective as to which calls to answer, as I draw near to the end of my battery life line. The most ironic part of this saga, is that I generally have a power cord at my disposal.

I find similarities of my cell phone battery to be akin with that of my spiritual walk. I often go and give until I'm at the low end, often needing to PLUG IN & RECHARGE myself. Even then, in moments like those, I must be more selective as to which calls (acitivies) I will take on. It is only by coming aside to commune with Almighty God, who is the source of all of the power that I need, that I can be charged up and fueled for the activites at hand. And the most ironic thing is that He is always very near, as our power cord source, waiting to recharge us for His bidding.

Whatever the tasks, of the day, it can only be accomplished with the proper source of energy. Come aside, get the proper rest, eat a diet that is customized for your balance, and spend time in communion/mediation with God our true source. PLUG IN & RECHARGE. Now that's DA Art of Living!
