Let Go!

Let Go!

As you can see, my Sunday blog has temporarily turned into a Monday blog, because I took my own sage advice to "Let Go!" On the heels of a rather intense week, and a build up of tension, calcium and all other sort of things that does not lend itself to great health, I decide to "Let Go"

My dear girlfriend and I penciled in and typed in on our calendars (smart phones), a regular Girls Time Out to Let Go! During this time we do all that speaks relaxation, laughter and fun. It started out with a drive to the city. Not sure that it was a stress releaser or inducer. But the end results were well worth it. We stopped and shared in a light afternoon tea and crudités at this quaint tea shop, Teafuse, in Vinnings. It was a perfect start to our "Let Go" day. Then a masseuse awaited us both at our Day Spa. I can only tell you that God knew what the healing power of touch would mean in each our lives. It was heavenly! Falling asleep during the massage was the true measurement of how overdue and greatly I needed the magical massage. Venae, my beautiful friend and partner for this journey, seemed to be relaxed from the deep tissue massage that allowed her to LET GO as well. She was clearly now in the "It's ALL GOOD" zone. A little shopping was a must for a LET Go day, so we let go of some cash too. The evening was topped off with dinner. We spent the remaining hours letting go of our cares at our favorite dinning establishment: Houston's. While we let go of quite a bit that day, we chose to not let go of our will power to resist the scrumptious desserts that Houston creates. The end product was that we let go of our tensions; we let go frustrations that was seeking to take root; we let go of our will and let God have His way.

Now that's DA Art of Living!

What do you want to LET GO of? Nothings stopping you, but you. Let go and let God and live!
