Confessions of A Serial Blogger

"Confessions of A Serial Blogger"

When the word "confession" comes to mind, does it conjure up the thought of one sharing their intimate thoughts, experiences, dreams,  prayers and sins? Well I've come to understand the blog  as a confessional booth of sorts; a place to share ones thoughts, experiences, dreams, prayers and even sins! While there is no clergy/priest in which to offer pardon and bid me to go forth and sin no more, you as my audience of one at a time, share in that role by your "Attabwoys", "way to go", "I didn't know", "Thank yous" and "I don't agrees". But ultimately I know that the approval of ONE is only needed, well TWO, if I count myself.

Sharing a blog is my creative, artistic way of sharing a part of me, my experiences, my life, my love and my woes, in the form of literary expression. While it may not be Shakespearean or  Angelouean in prose and style, It's authentically me! And if you've read my first set of blogs , you'll know it speaks of being your true, authentic self.  There are so many things that vie for my attention, talents, treasures and more. I find my self always coming back full circle  asking myself "Is that a part of your purpose, your passion and God's plan?" Unfortunately, I confess that I find myself saying "No" to that question, more than "Yes". That's my confession. But I then give myself some room for error and kindness, as I get back on track to my three P's (Purpose, Passion and God's Plan). When I am in this zone, there is nothing that can rob me of that Peace that passeth all understanding. Awareness is the key to change and the willingness to take the steps to make the necessary changes is what unlocks the doors, for which we must pass through.

Yes, it's Sunday, a church day for many, and the day after coming off of a spiritually high weekend, having been  blessed by Pastor Charles Jenkins, and his AWESOME music ministry team (special shout out to Ms. Linda Reid)  and Corey "Coco Brother" Condrey, a wonderful prayer warrior. Sunday is also a day of new beginnings, a new week. A day or hour or moment in which we can start again, and be forgivingly gentle with ourselves in the process called life. Now that's DA Art of Living!

Be Blessed, Be Well!
