Blessed to Be A Blessing. Did you know that you are far more blessed than you could ever imagine. Sometimes it takes a trip to another country, or a documentary or the tele, but in most instances, it takes just a drive a few miles from when you reside to realize how blessed you are. When I am tempted to lament over a situation, that may be temporary, but certainly for my greater good in the long run, I am reminded how blessed I am. When we drive our cars, and can put fuel in them, we count it a blessing. But when we can assist others who need fuel, then we realized how blessed we are. When we can purchase items we like at our favorite supermarket or local Farmer's market, while supporting local merchants, we realized that we are blessed. But when we can share the meals with others, there lies the greater blessing. When the day takes an unexpected turn, in the wrong direction, but we can be a source of hope and encouragement to others with the right words or smile, then we realized we are abundantly blessed. When we see men and women disheveled, walking aimlessly on the streets, desperately in need of shelter, clothing and much more, and we can touch their lives in that moment for the better, then we are blessed to be a blessing. Should we ever find ourselves on the receiving end of those blessings, know that even then God has smiled upon us, acknowledging that even then, He's so good to us. Now that's DA Art of Living!
