SPEAK LIFE

SPEAK LIFE...

WORDS are like the toolbox of  an architect;  forming the blueprint, ground work for our lives. Our words should be measured and chosen with great care, as the slide ruler determines the length, height and depth of a structure.  Only proper planning, selection  and measurements will yield the perfect building, statue or vessel.

WORDS are just as powerful!  They have the ability to build up or tear down.  The Proverbial WORD says it best, "WORDS fitly spoken are like apples of gold in pictures of silver."   The timing of the delivery of WORDS are just as important as the WORDS themselves. If presented with great care and timing, the WORD Works will be a masterpiece. Even with all the care given to the selection and timing of words, praying that the heart intended to receive those words is receptive, is another key part effective communication.  And we thought we could just open our mouths and spew out words without much thought.  Even the poet gives painstaking care to the lyrics they he or she spits into the world. Communicating effectively is a lot of work that can pay off with the greatest returns when done properly.

WORDS exchanged at the improper time or tone has been the source of a many misunderstandings, hurt feelings and even wars.  And the results of WORDS spoken at the appointed time, place and tone, can be the source of LIFE itself. If you're at a point of uncertainty as  what to say, what I claim   as a guide  for my life is: Speak life to it, Speak life through it... Does that mean that I've perfected the art of SPEECH and WORDS? No! But everyday I aim to do better, and be better and not bitter by past experiences.

There was a man of great authority and responsibility, similar to that of a Mayor, who had a sick employee who was on his death bed. The Mayor valued this employee, in whom he had built up a trustful relationship over the years. He knew his family, their humble dwellings and the mans commitment and loyalty to his administration. So, the only thing the Mayor knew to do was to seek the best care and  help for his employee. He went to the equivalent of the CEO of the Mayo Clinic, but the Creator of the Clinic Himself showed up. The CEO SPOKE LIFE over this employee and said to the Mayor, I have never seen so great a faith and compassion as yours.   As you believe, and CONFESS with your mouth, SO IT SHALL BE. (Luke 7:1-10; John 4:43-54)

What do you confess with your mouth? I confess LIFE and COMPLETE HEALING over my little niece Brooke Marie and over my Great Aunt Josie.  Let  us make a concerted effort to SPEAK Hope; SPEAK Love; SPEAK Joy; SPEAK Encouragement; SPEAK Healing or choose to be silent. SPEAK LIFE! Now that's DA Art of Living!

May this song SPEAK LIFE into YOUR LIFE:
